The American Graduate School in Paris hosts undergraduate study abroad programs for students wanting to study in Paris to gain international experience while earning credits towards their degree at their home institution. Classes take place at the American Graduate School in Paris, located between Luxembourg gardens and the traditional artists' district of Montparnasse, in the heart of Paris.
The language of instruction is English; you do not need to speak French to enroll. These programs are open to students from all countries. The summer program extends over six weeks and features a cross- disciplinary curriculum divided between French language courses in the mornings and international relations seminars in the afternoons. You may take a free online assessment test prior to starting the program as well as a short oral examination upon arrival in order to be assigned to the class that is best fitted to your level. Classes bring together students in the AGS Study Abroad program with other learners of French, making for interesting exchanges with fellow students from many different countries. International Relations seminars: The seminars are organized around the following four themes: Origins of the French and European States. Comparative European Politics and Government.
